Welcome to our new Comunicado! This space is for you, the student, faculty and staff member. Feel free to print it out and allow all to read it.
Remember, too, that without your participation, there is no Comunicado.
To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, CBS5 will be taking their viewers on a trip through East San Jose.
Did you watch it?
By the way, on the show, Candelario Franco was the main man talking about the history of East San Jose.
Dr. Juan Necochea gave a blurb about NHU, Dr. Cruz, and the Debate Team.
WAY TO GO!!
Local Home Depot Partners with LCPA
Approximately 50 volunteers from San Jose area Home Depot stores, as well as volunteers from The Latino College Preparatory Academy (LCPA) joined forces to enhance LCPA’s Go Green Project. The project included the construction of two green houses, planter beds and installation of a drip irrigation system to help with the schools ecology program. All materials used for the project are from local Home Depot stores.
To those who were there to help or to cheer, thank you!
Many of the Home Depot volunteers took time off from work to help beautify LCPA. They came from places like Salinas, Morgan Hill, etc.
Thank you once again for joining us. We should have pictures next week.

We are interested in talking to your TRIO grant administrators for potential collaboration. Is there a number or email we could call?
