CONGRATULATIONS GRADUATES!!

Our 23^rd Commencement Exercises went off without a hitch thanks to the great people who put it together. Kudos to our fearless leader, Patricia Estrada who motivated everyone with her upbeat spirit and drive. Other team members included: Dr. Juan Necochea, Dr. Adriana Ayala, Priscilla Castillo, Martha Escalera, Candelario Franco, Carmela Hernandez, Takeo Kubo, Virginia Ramirez, Irene Salazar. Great Job!

A very special NHU ''Alumni" also "graduated" this year. Chris Rogers is retiring and will be leaving the area. Prof. Rogers, you will truly be missed! Keep in touch!

June 17th Student Success Program is hosting a Pre-Orientation from 11:00 am -- 12:30 pm for all Summer Bridge applicants.

We are excited to kick off the Summer Academic Enrichment Program. June 30^th- july 25^th taking place at NHU.

Student Achievement

Six NHU students have been selected to participate in the prestigious NASA Pre Service Teacher Institute planned for June 8-20th, 2008. The Institute will meet at the NASA, Ames Research Center in Mountain View. Please congratulate them. Go NHU!

International Latino Film Society

Starting June 7th, the International Latino Film Society will team up with the San Jose Public Library to have a free film series on immigration named 'What Cannot Be Left Behind: A June 2008 Film Series'. All events are free! See below for the schedule. Films will be followed with a discussion. Enjoy!
